Summer Maker Lab reaches 1,200 students across the region
A three-week workshop in coding, design and making gave 1,200 teenagers the chance to build and showcase their first prototypes.
This year's Maker Lab introduced peer mentors for the first time — former participants returning as teaching assistants to guide newcomers from sketch to finished piece.
At the closing showcase, more than 300 works opened to the public, spanning interactive installations, eco-friendly designs and social-innovation prototypes.
